MACA Student's Design Chosen in Statewide Contest

We are pleased to share the news that student Ayla Voitier’s design submission for the 2021 Teacher Leader Summit t-shirt contest has been chosen as the winner!

Ayla Voitier has been a student in the Talented Art classes for three years at Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts. In her time at MACA, she has been more than the ideal student, balancing a triple load of work.  She takes art classes, enters art competitions, and creates artwork for school functions. While her art classes are mandatory, the majority of the competitions and all of the extra school functions are done on a volunteer basis. She has also been in the After School Art Program (ASAP) and the Art Club for 3 years.

The Teacher Leader Summit is an annual professional development conference, which brings together Louisiana educators who serve students from birth to 12th grade, who inspire, innovate, and impact meaningful growth for every student.  If you would like to purchase a shirt, please visit teachersummittshirt.com
